Blithe Babble: Actor/Designer by day, Vampire by night

A true passion for the daily Hollywood grind isn’t something everyone enjoys, but actor and designer, Justin Price, fully embraces it with everything he’s got. He once played one of the Lockwood’s on The CW’s Vampire Diaries, and has snagged a few covers of romance novels as your beloved book boyfriend. With a brand new bomber jacket line launching and landing the leading role in two new feature films, Justin has his hands full. Surprisingly enough he still has time to be a part-time prankster. If you know me, you know I live for a good prank. Well now you should know my friendship with Justin started because we went full on prank wars with our other friend Randy for a solid 2 months. (We should get that going again.) It’s all fun and games until someone sends you a prank from Derek Jeter’s house. Check mate! Read below to see what our favorite Vampire has been up to.

BB:You're an actor, writer and designer. How do you juggle it all?

JP: Well, I don’t sleep that much! I love what I do, the hustle keeps me strong and hungry. he amount of opportunities one can fulfill is up to how hungry they are.

BB: Do you tend to favor one career over the other?

JP: At times, but they each fulfill a different part of me and serve me differently creatively.

BB: You played one of the Lockwood's on The Vampire Diaries which still has a cult following, do you have any crazy fan stories?

JP: I once let a fan and her boyfriend crash at my place after meeting at Universal Studios. They had amazing energy and I am thankful to have met them.

BB: Tell us about your current projects.

JP: I have two leading roles in feature films coming up. “Walk by Faith” and “We the People”. I go from playing an angel to playing an attorney- can’t wait!

BB: Do you have any funny pre performance rituals you do when you get ready to film?

JP: It depends but usually a few (1,000) pushups to get the blood flowing while listening to a playlist I built around the character and what he would have listened to.

BB: If you could work with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?

JP: This is a loaded question! Honestly, so many. Michael Shannon. It’s something about the grit in his gut that draws me to him. We need more of that.

BB: What is your signature design style when it comes to your fashion brand?

JP: Right now, I’ve designed 8 pieces for my bomber jacket line. My brand is about being custom to what the consumers want. I love learning new techniques.

BB: Shag, Marry, Kill. Emily Ratajkowski, Margot Robbie, Jennifer Lawrence.

JP: Shag: Emily, Marry: Margot, Kill: Jennifer- I’ve seen some of her movies so would kill her before she kills me.

BB: What is your go to karaoke song?

JP: Friends in low places, Tennessee whiskey, or anything by Ludacris.

BB: Who is your style idol?

JP: Mike Amiri, his approach to fashion is refreshing and it inspires me to just sit down and create.

BB: If you could play any character from any film, who would it be and why?

JP: Butch from Pulp Fiction. What I can remember about my father, Bruce Willis brought to life in that film. He is a badass that can’t be bought and I love it.

BB: If you could do a love scene with anyone, who would it be?

JP: Anne Hathaway. She’s been my crush for as long as I can remember. The way she carries herself is pure elegance.

BB: For all our single readers, what do you look for in a girl?

JP: Personality and just someone who likes to have fun! Personality and confidence really go a long way. Can’t hurt is she likes to cook. I also love a girl who likes to sing- whether she is good or not.

BB: Dream country to visit?

JP: New Zealand, Hobbittown. The Shire, I mean what Lord of the Rings fan wouldn’t fully agree? Also, Greece- haven’t been YET.

BB: What's one thing people don't know about you?

JP: I secretly live to make people laugh. I love seeing people smile, especially when they are holding back and finally give in to the temptation. Pure joy. Also, in 7th grade my teacher asked me who I wanted to “pen pal” with and I said Robin Williams, never thinking that would actually happen. I wrote him and Robin wrote back to me inspiring me to follow my vision and dreams and ended it with “stay young kid”. That has stuck with me all these years.

BB: What’s it feel like to be on the cover of so many romance novels? You’re a book boyfriend!

JP: It’s cool, I actually didn’t even know I was on so many covers! Really blown away… is it weird my mom reads those novels? haha!
